Airflow Adjustment Requirements for Raymond Mill
Common milling equipment mainly includes Raymond mills, high-pressure mills, European-style mills, and ultra-fine mills. Today, let’s focus on the Raymond mill. During its operation, if the ventilation is either too strong or too weak, the fan’s working condition will change. Poor airflow can cause the equipment to become clogged. On the other hand, if the airflow is too strong, the product's qualification rate may decrease. It is evident that airflow plays an important role in the production of Raymond mills.
When the Raymond mill is operating, adjusting the fan’s airflow to a proper level helps achieve the desired fineness. The general approach is to initially open the fan to a larger setting, and then fine-tune it based on the required output and fineness. Proper airflow ensures that finished materials are promptly carried away by the air, preventing excessive fine powder accumulation. The fineness of the final product is also affected by the airflow. Typically, when installing a Raymond mill, the fan is adjusted according to production needs to meet specific requirements. Therefore, during operation, no other major changes are necessary, and the fan speed should not be adjusted arbitrarily.

Issues to Pay Attention to During the Installation and Debugging of the Raymond Mill:
- Before installation, ensure that the equipment surface is coated with anti-rust paint because the mill generally operates outdoors.
- The foundation should be laid first. The principle of laying the foundation is the same as that of a house, to ensure that the equipment operates properly.
- During installation, users must ensure that all parts are securely connected, check for foreign objects in the parts, verify the wiring is correct, and ensure the voltage is normal.
- During debugging, preheat and check for any noise or abnormal vibrations. If no issues are found and everything is functioning normally, daily operations can begin.
